Mohammed is under obligation from Allah to fight non-Muslims until they perform Shahadah or pay the Jizya or be put to death. Muslims are under obligation to follow Mohammed

(1) Narrated Ibn ‘Umar: Allah’s Apostle said: “I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah’s Apostle, and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform a that, then they save their lives an property from me except for Islamic laws and then their reckoning (accounts) will be done by Allah.”  (Book #2, Hadith #24)

(5) Narrated Abu Musa: A man came to the Prophet and asked, “O Allah’s Apostle! What kind of fighting is in Allah’s cause? (I ask this), for some of us fight because of being enraged and angry and some for the sake of his pride and haughtiness.” The Prophet raised his head (as the questioner was standing) and said, “He who fights so that Allah’s Word (Islam) should be superior, then he fights in Allah’s cause.”  (Book #3, Hadith #125)

(8) Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’ And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.” Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, “O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?” He replied, “Whoever says, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah’, faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have.”  (Book #8, Hadith #387)

(39) Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said, “A single endeavor (of fighting) in Allah’s Cause in the forenoon or in the afternoon is better than the world and whatever is in it.”  (Book #52, Hadith #50)

(40) Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said, “Nobody who dies and finds good from Allah (in the Hereafter) would wish to come back to this world even if he were given the whole world and whatever is in it, except the martyr who, on seeing the superiority of martyrdom, would like to come back to the world and get killed again (in Allah’s Cause).” Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, “A single endeavor (of fighting) in Allah’s Cause in the afternoon or in the forenoon is better than all the world and whatever is in it. A place in Paradise as small as the bow or lash of one of you is better than all the world and whatever is in it. And if a houri from Paradise appeared to the people of the earth, she would fill the space between Heaven and the Earth with light and pleasant scent and her head cover is better than the world and whatever is in it.”  (Book #52, Hadith #53)

(43) Narrated Abu Musa: A man came to the Prophet and asked, “A man fights for war booty; another fights for fame and a third fights for showing off; which of them fights in Allah’s Cause?” The Prophet said, “He who fights that Allah’s Word (i.e. Islam) should be superior, fights in Allah’s Cause.”  (Book #52, Hadith #65)

(48) Narrated Sahl bin Sad As-Sa’idi: I saw Marwan bin Al-Hakam sitting in the Mosque. So I came forward and sat by his side. He told us that Zaid bin Thabit had told him that Allah’s Apostle had dictated to him the Divine Verse: “Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and those who strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with their wealth and lives.’ (4.95) Zaid said, “Ibn-Maktum came to the Prophet while he was dictating to me that very Verse. On that Ibn Um Maktum said, “O Allah’s Apostle! If I had power, I would surely take part in Jihad.” He was a blind man. So Allah sent down revelation to His Apostle while his thigh was on mine and it became so heavy for me that I feared that my thigh would be broken. Then that state of the Prophet was over after Allah revealed “…except those who are disabled (by injury or are blind or lame etc.) (4.95)  (Book #52, Hadith #85)

  1. θ says:

Christophanic Jesus during the Old Testament ordered the Jews to do more severer violence and took the Jizya more lavishly.

The Spirit (under Jesus’ name) killed two rich Jews, Ananias and Sappira, for not giving a tithe fully to Peter.

  2. madmanna says:

These hadith you don’t reject because you like it that Mohammed killed people because of their beliefs and their rejection of his claim to be a prophet.

  3. θ says:

The Hadiths don’t specifically mention “killing” or “destroy” (per Q.8, v.67), and the Arabic word “fight” (Qital) has many meanings, such as banishment and imprisonment per Q.5, v.32, Q.8, v.70.

  4. madmanna says:

    It means fight to kill.

  5. السلفية says:

Boxing and martial arts are actions of fighting, but nobody is killed.

  6. السلفية says:

Christians would come to their senses when they stop drinking boozes too much.
Any time we see the Christians get excited about somethin’ we may presume that they drink boozes to much.
    Acts 2:13
Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

  7. madmanna says:

Don’t keep quoting this verse at me. Last time.

  8. madmanna says:

“Boxing and martial arts are actions of fighting, but nobody is killed.”

We know how Mohammed fought. We have the gory details.

  9. madmanna says:

800 Jews decapitated in one day is not Thai boxing.

  10. السلفية says:

“madmanna says: We know how Mohammed fought. We have the gory details.”

    From what?

“800 Jews decapitated in one day is not Thai boxing.”

That’s the decision of other man Sa’d Ibn Muadh.
After all, the number of casualties is not valid, because it does not appear in Sahih Hadith.

The whole thing was just a plot hatched by Mohammed to decimate the Jews and take their property in revenge for their not becoming Muslims. So they should never have been attacked in the first place.

  13. θ says:

“madmanna says: The whole thing was just a plot hatched by Mohammed to decimate the Jews and take their property in revenge for their not becoming Muslims. So they should never have been attacked in the first place.”

The Jews started to mess and take a wrong move by making a confederation secretly with the Mekkah and Byzantines to decimate Moslems.

  14. madmanna says:

The law must decide, not a man. A man deciding is breaking the law of Moses, thou shalt not kill. Human life belongs to God first. The law of Moses is that you cannot attack a man until he attacks you. The Jews never attacked Mohammed and they had every right to make defensive alliances with the pagans. Everybody knew that Mohammed would continue to make war against them using his invented religion as a justification.

  15. θ says:

“madmanna says: The Jews never attacked Mohammed and they had every right to make defensive alliances with the pagans.”

You don’t know the History of early Moslems, do you?
Based on four witnesses who lobbied the Jews to no avail, the Jews breached their pact with Moslems first by supporting the Byzantines and the Makkah.
Gabriel needs to remind Prophet Muhammad just shortly after he laid down his weapons because there comes a bad news of the Qurayza’s betrayal, which was not announced publicly by 4 witnesses (Sa’ad bin Muadh, Sa’ad bin Ubadah, Abdullah bin Rawahah, Khawwat bin Jubayr) on the purposes to avoid a breaking of morale among the Madinahs, to prevent the mass panics, to control the flow of information related to the matter of sensitive safety and security.

Muhammad sent three leading Muslims to bring him details of the recent developments. He advised the men to openly declare their findings, should they find the Banu Qurayza to be loyal, so as to increase the morale of the Muslim fighters. However, he warned against spreading the news of a possible breach of the pact on the Qurayza’s part, so as to avoid any panic within Muslim ranks.[22][23]
The leaders found that the pact indeed had been renounced and tried in vain to convince the Qurayza to revert by reminding them of the fate of the Banu Nadir and Banu Qaynuqa at the hands of Muhammad.[23]

  16. madmanna says:

Mohammed had already attacked and pillaged the other jewish tribes in Medina and the others knew their turn was coming because of their wealth and unbelief. They had too much booty and they rejected Mohammed as a prophet. The koran shows that such peoples were always attacked by the messenger. In this context they had no other choice but to revoke the treaty, which they had a right to do.

  17. θ says:

“madmanna says: Mohammed had already attacked and pillaged the other jewish tribes in Medina and the others knew their turn was coming because of their wealth and unbelief.”

The Jews should have stayed in the treaty seeing how God is on the-side of Moslems always when defeating the Makkah at Badr, banishing the belligerent Jews, forcing the confederation of Makkah and Byzantines to retreat into their loss.

“They had too much booty and they rejected Mohammed as a prophet.”

If the Jews had behaved nicely with wealth by paying Jizya, they would have been okay even though they reject Prophethood. They also imposed tributary to Gentiles (even worse, a forced labor). The Jews should have stayed in the treaty seeing how God is on the-side of Moslems always.

“The koran shows that such peoples were always attacked by the messenger.”

No, had only they paid Jizya.

“In this context they had no other choice but to revoke the treaty, which they had a right to do.”

If that’s a matter of choice, the Jews should have paid Jizya just as they imposed tributary (even worse, a forced labor) on Gentiles.

  18. madmanna says:

“If that’s a matter of choice, the Jews should have paid Jizya just as they imposed tributary (even worse, a forced labor) on Gentiles.”

The temple theocracy of the OT was not repeatable and its political laws cannot be taken as a model for other political entities such as Islam.

Anyone can falsely claim, as Islam does, that God has given them authority to impose taxes and forced labour, as Islam allows slavery and the paying of tribute, or anything else to make money.

Islam is like the mafia. If you pay the jizya you will be left in peace, if not you will be attacked.

  19. θ says:

“madmanna says: The temple theocracy of the OT was not repeatable and its political laws cannot be taken as a model for other political entities such as Islam.”

It can, and has been repeatable by Islam.
After all, isn’t Jesus a tax-payer of Caesar’s throne during his life?

“Anyone can falsely claim, as Islam does, that God has given them authority to impose taxes and forced labour, as Islam allows slavery and the paying of tribute, or anything else to make money.

Isn’t Jesus a tax-payer of Caesar’s throne during his life?
According to Historians, the Jewish slaves were forced by the Romans to make so many infrastructures and buildings around Judah.

“Islam is like the mafia. If you pay the jizya you will be left in peace, if not you will be attacked.”

So, Jesus is a phony consigliere of the Dons, eh?
consigliere: a member of a Mafia family who serves as an adviser to the leader and resolves disputes within the family.

  20. madmanna says:

But the tribes were independent entities. They didn’t pay taxes to each other. The Jews owed the Muslims nothing.

  21. θ says:

“madmanna says: But the tribes were independent entities. They didn’t pay taxes to each other. The Jews owed the Muslims nothing.”

Tributary is something allowed in the Tanach, those Jews should have known it better. The Jewish Khaybars do not repeat the same mistakes of other Jews, they have initiative to pay Jizya.
