  1. θ says:

Qur’an contains a piece of excerpt of Talmud which Christians deemed as rejected source or apocrypha (as therein Jesus is maligned as Yeshu).
Qur’an contains a piece of narration of Luke’s Gospel on the virgin birth which the Jews deemed as rejected source or apocrypha (as therein Jesus and Mary were praised).

  2. Anonymous says:

Even Gospels borrowed the newly idea of the Atonement from the Thanksgiving Psalms of Qumran in the Dead Sea Scrolls, which regard the Sons (plural) of God as the “forgivers”. If the Pharisees happened to hear or read this DSS’ psalm, they would have stoned and charged the Qumranites of committing a blasphemy.

    DSS, p. 410.
Who will be justified before thee when he is judged?
There is no Spirit that can reply to thy accusation,
and none is able to stand before thy wrath.
But all the Sons of Thy truth thou wilt bring in Pardon before thee,
    cleansing them from their transgressions.

    Mk 2
7 Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?8 And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?

    Lk 5:21
And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
    Lk 7:49
And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?

Qumranites teach the same Gospel of John’s reason why God saves: because of *listening the voice of the Teacher*.
    DSS: Damascus Rule
But all those who hold fast to these precepts, going and coming in accordance with the Law, who heed the voice of the Teacher and confess before God, (saying) “Truly we have sinned, who do not lift their hand against His holy precepts or His righteous statutes or His true testimonies; who have listened to the voice of the Teacher of Righteousness and have not despised the precepts of righteousness, God will forgive them and they shall see His salvation.

Qumranites teach the same Gospel of John’s reason why God saves: because of one’s suffering and *Faith in the Teacher*.
    DSS: 1Qp.Hab 8(1-3).
But the righteous shall live by his faith (Hab 2:4b). This concerns all those who observe the Law in the House of Judah, whom God will deliver from the House of Judgement because of their suffering and because of their faith in the Teacher of Righteousness.
