Questions to ask a Muslim, with comments, from JihadWatch.org

A Muslim ex-Marine has been travelling across country with a sign: “I’m A Muslim And A U.S. Marine — Ask Anything.”

He’s one of a small army of I’m-A-Muslim-Ask-Me-Anything propagandists, moving about our land, attracting small groups of onlookers, and then posting his exchanges with them, which always end with a hug from a newly-enlightened non-Muslim, on YouTube. Here’s one treacly example.

The questions posed are usually of the most anodyne and simple-minded sort, but even these sometimes require a little prefabricated taqiyya, delivered in the most deeply sincere way. In order to make it easier for those who’d like to upset the applecart of these ambulatory propagandists, I’ve made a list of “anythings” that you might want to ask, should you run across one of these Ask-Me-Anything Muslims. Of course, there is always the possibility that once your interlocutor realizes that you actually know something about Islam, and taqiyya is out of the question, he might accuse you of being an “Islamophobe” not interested in “real dialogue,” and attempt to get those onlookers to take his side against you, the troublemaker. You have to be ready with sweetness-and-light, affecting an innocent goshdarnit I-just-want-to-know attitude, which may help, experience suggests, to keep the bystanders on your side and increasingly skeptical of the Ask-Me-Anything mountebank.

You should come prepared with a few dozen questions, to which you possess the answers, with the relevant supporting passages from the Qur’an or Hadith or Sira easily retrievable from your smartphone or notecards. Even though your Muslim interlocutor sees that you are well-prepared, he can’t cut you off right away; he’s got to let you ask at least a few anythings. He may try to find excuses to end the entire Q-and-A session, or at least to stop taking your questions. But that will make him look bad, which is precisely what you want. All of a sudden, the Muslim who made such a big deal about his openness shows himself unwilling to answer perfectly reasonable questions. Your goal is to rattle him, to get him to try to cut you off in front of others, who will then realize that this business of “Ask Me Anything” stops the minute anyone raises an unappetizing aspect of Islam. You’ve spoiled his game, no matter what he does.

Whether you make use of the list below or make up your own (fun for the whole family), you can share these lists with friends eager to do exactly what you’ve been doing, by making life difficult for any Ask-Me-Anything Muslim they might run across. And of course both you, and they, should have a videographer present to capture the discombobulation of the Ask-Me-Anything Muslim, so as to post it for all the world to see on YouTube.

Here’s that Starter Kit of Ask-Me-Anything Questions:

I have a question of my own to be asked after the Islamic “sacred months” have passed:

The sacred months have passed. So, how have you been complying with the order given in Koran 9:5?

He didn’t marry an 11-year-old girl. He married a SIX-year-old girl and RAPED her when she was nine. Maybe after having thighed her a few times before that.

“He didn’t marry an 11-year-old girl. He married a SIX-year-old girl and RAPED her when she was nine. Maybe after having thighed her a few times before that”
The bit of “thighing” could also be takkya. If a pedo is sick enough to engage in thghing then It is not conceivable that he can stop at only her thighs. How far from her actual private parts would he engage in this disease? about zero only stopping at penetration.
I HONEST;Y HAVE NO IDEA HOW THEY EVEN HAVE HE CONCEPT OF GOD. Someone should ask them “what would a satanic person do that is not already done by muslims under one pretext and excuse or another?” . consider: Murder, rape, anal sex, extortion, lies (said to be divine), oppress women and minorities, lack of love for non-conformists (i guess even the demons in hell tolerate each other) etc ad infinitum. .

It is a huge waste of time to even talk to a Muslim, as they do not have to tell the truth to a non-believer or infidel. Why even have a conversation?? The Muslim theocracy needs to leave this country before more American non-muslim and non-believers get killed.

I COMPLETELY AGREE. It is a HUGE waste of time indeed to engage Muslims in telling the truth… They just evade and duck and weave and lie thru their teeth ad infinitum…. Believe me, as a Hindu from India, I know these people deeply and their ways…

That is not a good idea, if people who know what Islam is all about won’t challenge these muslims on the streets, they will be free to hoodwink the unknowing general public.
Hopefully those who hear our questions and hear the Islamic answers or lack of them they will start to wake up about Islam.

With all respect, Brett, the idea that Muslims know nothing about Islam is a pretty iffy proposition. Most pious Muslims know *all too much* about Islam–as we see from the Jihad being waged all over the world.

I wonder if this Muslim marine put his right hand on the bible or the Quran to pledged his allegiance to the United States or to Mohammad and Allah? If this Muslim marine is a practicing Muslim, the American people have a problem. This marine was trained to kill non-believers and infidels. Thanks to Obama, Muslims have a religious exception. They do not have to pledge allegiance to the United States when they join the Military. Hopefully, President Trump will remove this religious exception for the Muslims. Essentially, Obama has trained Muslims with taxpayers money to kill non-believers and infidels. Are you Muslim? If you are not Muslim like most of the American people, you have a problem. Should this Muslim marine get hurt, Obama’s administration would make his family a Gold Star family with special monetary compensation. Don’t forget, the truth is Islamophobia in the Muslim, CAIR world.

An “informed” population is the greatest threat – I prefer the word protection – to many things … like elitist government officials and politicians representing their views as opposed to those of the people they are supposed to be representing … like religions or belief systems (e.g., communism, mohammedanism, mormonism, scientology, buddhism, hinduism, christianity, so many more -isms, -itys, and -ologies) that say “Trust Me” now, don’t look at our beginnings – when some ONE (or thousands or millions) may have been deceived, killed or cheated out of their money – because “The Ends Justify The Means”.

And, as has been mentioned in other comments and posts, look out if people start reading, educating themselves or, perish the thought, start thinking and interpreting things for themselves. The moment we put down the newspapers and internet and start talking/communicating with each other, the moment we turn off the TV, music and the computer monitors – interesting word “monitor”, it might as well be “babysitter” – that feed us an endless and mindless stream of anger inducing or thought pacifying material that keeps us separate from each other … that divides equality for all … that limits Love … IS THE MOMENT A TRUE AWAKENING BEGINS.

Thanks for the inspiring posts and comments.

Maybe we should be looking up the answers ourselves so that we learn more in the process and learn to respond to the muslims answer more quickly.
Hesitation on our part makes it look as if we are trying to concoct an answer so sympathy may leach back to Islam.

Hey there old chap.. I recommend a Book called the Prophet of Doom by Craig Winn, its over 900 pages and available for free download at http://www.prophetofdoom.net

Prophet of Doom is the best-documented, most comprehensive, presentation of Islam’s five oldest and most reliable scriptural sources. Ishaq’s Biography of Muhammad, Tabari’s History of Islam, and Bukhari’s and Muslim’s Hadith, were used to reorder the Qur’an chronologically and to set its surahs into the context of Muhammad’s life. When this evidence is evaluated systematically…

Well you can draw your own conclusions. Its not a pretty sight.

Muslims do not know Islam, they were born into it, and blindly accept every thing and no room for dialog, as it is against the Quran teaching. It says in one surah, do not ask if you see things you may not understand. They think the Quran is in heaven, nothing have changed since Mohammad got it from heaven. However, the Shia at copy is different than the Sunni copy, and the last original copy found in Yemen 10 years ago, is not the same , go figure.

      didn’t you read Hugh’s article?

Anyone asking these questions of this mohammedan dawa-artist, in a public place, **in the presence of uninformed and naive fellow infidels**, is basically doing it in order to *pique the curiosity of said infidels who are eavesdropping on the exchange*.

It’s not about the Muslim at all. The questioner *expects* that the Muslim will stonewall, or lie, or otherwise attempt to evade giving a straight answer. But the questioner knows that any intelligent persons amongst the infidel bystanders listening-in, will pick up on this, and begin to be less trusting of the mohammedan.

Hopefully, if the questioner is practised enough, the mohammedan might even have a meltdown; the ‘nice as pie’ mask will rip off and the monster that is The Islam will come snarling out, like the monster in ‘alien’ popping out of someone’s chest. And *that*, too, will be instructive for the bystanders.

I would bet my bottom dollar that Hugh has *done* this ‘I just have a few little questions’ routine, more than once. I don’t think he’s asking jihadwatch readers to do anything that he hasn’t himself ‘road-tested’.

I have another question to add: Why is it that in Islam when it comes close to their holiday or holy month they get more violent? When we come to our high holidays as Jews for example, we engage in more prayer and charity etc.. Every year when it comes Ramadan, there is a spike in terror attacks worldwide. In Islam the most religious ones are also the most violent. Something is very wrong.

God said in the old testament, do not kill, same in Christianity. god of Islam says kill the non Muslims, kill the Jews and Christians, kill in 200 sora verses, of kill this and that. not the same God. Jesus said love your enemy, not take his wife and young daughters and kill his boys.

Muslims say that Muhammad is the best exemplar of a human being and whatever he did are good examples to follow. So a Muslim who marries a 6 year old child then “thighs” her until she turns 9, then rapes is behavior to be emulated?

Another question along this line of reasoning:

Uthman is deemed by many Muslims to be a rightly-guided caliph. Do you agree with that assessment?

          Whether he agrees of not:

Given that he was murdered by members of the Umma (Who cannot agree on error and had so much contempt for him he was interned in a Jewish cemetery) for being deficient in his religion what does it take for a Caliph to be considered a worthless sack of shit?

I think the answer to 5 is that Khomeini was a Shiite, so it doesn’t count. (The fact that it is perfectly consistent with Sunni teaching needn’t bother anyone.) I’m a bit perplexed about this one, though:
      19. Why do so many non-Arab Muslims take Arabic names?
The fact is that many non-English speaking people who were baptised by Christian missionaries took Christian names in the English form. Likewise, those converted by French missionaries took Christian names in the French form. The native tongue of Islam is Arabic, so it sort of follows that those who have converted wind up with Arabic names.

(.. Why do so many non-Arab Muslims take Arabic names?..)

We have to understand there is a very strong element of arabic supremacist and arabic cultural imperialism inherent in islam. For example, it is believed, among other things, that the quran should only be read in Arabic and any translation of the quran cannot be called a real quran but a “translation” of the real quran which is the arabic quran. arabs also persuaded non-arabic muslims that arabic language is the allah’s ‘holy’ language and that it is the only language allowed in islamic paradise.

On the other hand, many muslims who convert to Christianity keep their own islamic names for safety reason and cultural reasons others take “Christian” names because they would like to disassociate themselves and their children from anything islamic when they leave their countries and immigrate to the West.

You are right about the Taqiyya, miriam. But in my experience, I have found that if you show you are knowledgeable that Muslims are usually a bit more forthcoming. And if all else fails, you can act as if you are not disgusted–after all, pious Muslims are not actually troubled by these horrors; they just don’t want to admit it to alarmed or critical Infidels.

After all, if instead of saying Muhammed is a pedophile and a rapist, you characterize his abuse of women and girls as “virility”, and instead of considering him a vicious thug you characterize him as a “great warrior”, most devout Muslims are more than happy to confirm all sorts of savagery.

If it were only that easy – ask the questions and back them up with the appropriate quotes and the Muslims melts into a pool of butter…

In reality, he’ll fire back … “You are taking that verse out of context”. “That comes from a weak Hadith”, “Only in time of war, sanction by the State”, “…but the Old Testament says…”, “Show me where that verse is. It’s not in the Quran”. “…but the translation from Arabic is faulty. That word really means “peace””.

No,I don’t. But it’s the figure they cut as they offer ever-more-lame and transparent excuses, every one of which you are prepared to rebut that matters. He mentions the Old Testament, you promptly reply with “ah, again the expected Tu-Quoque, and the confusion between what is described in the Old Testament and prescribed in the Qur’an. He says it’s not in the Qur’an, and you produce it, from your hand -held concordance (that smartphone) or, in the alternative, when he says “that’s not in the Qur’an” and you reply “no, it’s not, it’s in the Hadith”, and then quote Bukhari or Muslim — well, you get the picture.

Perversely, the YouTube channel is called “Review of Religions” yet only covers Islam, and even more perversely, it’s run by the small Ahmadiyya sect, who are banned as heretics and infidels by most Muslim states, including Saudi Arabia, so they can’t visit Mecca. From the website:

The Review of Religions, in print since 1902, is one of the longest-running comparative religious magazines.
The objective of the magazine is to present the teachings of Islam, reflecting its rational, harmonious and inspiring nature. It also brings together articles and viewpoints on different religions and seeks to make discussions on religion and religious philosophy accessible to a wider readership.
The magazine is devoted to promoting intellectual and lively debate that is based on respect for all prophets and religions. Islam repeatedly stresses the need to seek knowledge and The Review of Religions provides a unique platform for people to acquire, and share knowledge.
The Review of Religions is an international magazine that is published by the Ahmadiyya Muslim community – a global organisation dedicated to promoting interfaith understanding.

    -Did ‘god’ write this text?
-Does he know that the text permits the rape of married captives?
-Does he know that that is now considered a crime against humanity by the United Nations?
-Does he agree with UN Security Council 1820 that states, “that “rape and other forms of sexual violence can constitute war crimes, crimes against humanity or a constitutive act with respect to genocide”.
-Does he realize that UNSC 1820 condemns K.4.23-24?
-Which of the two does he choose? They are in contradiction, so he cannot choose both.

Graven, I was unable to locate a Quranic verse that translates to the statement presented by RCH. The closest I could come was Surah 62, which disparages polytheists and excoriates Jews. Below is a link to that Surah, with English translation provided, to include the following verses:

        “2. He it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad ) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this Qur’an, Islamic laws and Islamic jurisprudence) and Al-Hikmah (As-Sunnah: legal ways, orders, acts of worship, etc. of Prophet Muhammad ). And verily, they had been before in mainfest error;

        3. And He has sent him (Prophet Muhammad ) also to others among them (Muslims) who have not yet joined them (but they will come). And He (Allah) is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

        4. That is the Grace of Allah, which He bestows on whom He wills. And Allah is the Owner of Mighty Grace.

        5. The likeness of those who were entrusted with the (obligation of the) Taurat (Torah) (i.e. to obey its commandments and to practise its legal laws), but who subsequently failed in those (obligations), is as the likeness of a donkey who carries huge burdens of books (but understands nothing from them). How bad is the example (or the likeness) of people who deny the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah. And Allah guides not the people who are Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, disbelievers, etc.).

        6. Say (O Muhammad ): “O you Jews! If you pretend that you are friends of Allah, to the exclusion of (all) other mankind, then long for death if you are truthful.”

        7. But they will never long for it (death), because of what (deeds) their hands have sent before them! And Allah knows well the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, disbelievers, etc.).”

graven and Cecilia – I think RCH is probably referring to 2:286:

“Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned. “Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error, our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us (Jews and Christians); our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us Forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Maula (Patron, Suppor-ter and Protector, etc.) and give us victory over the disbelieving people.”

Hugh Fitzgerald: “I’m a Muslim — Ask Me Anything
    ………………………

All fine questions, Hugh–I hope savvy Infidels ask them of these Muslims, and at “interfaith” night at Mosques.

About ten years ago–when I was learning about Islam and was new to Jihad Watch–I ran into a table set up by “Why Islam?” at a BART station in San Francisco. There were two Muslims staffing it–one with a beard who just glared at me, an unveiled Infidel woman, and another who seemed superficially civilized.

I realized I couldn’t tackle everything–so I decided to ask them questions about two subjects–one about the subservient status of women in Islam; the other about the Muslim “Jesus”.

First I got a load of Taqiyya about women–we respect them, blah blah blah–then when he realized that I knew something about Islam, he openly admitted that women are inferior in Islam–but that this is proper and is ordained by Allah–including wife-beating for disobedience.

It was the same with “Jesus”–he hemmed and hawed, then admitted that “Jesus”–really, “Isa”–in the last days will slaughter Christians who do not convert to Islam. He condoned this because they “lied about him”.

Ultimately, I was rather stunned at how much he revealed. I was also surprised that he did not appear to realize how repulsed I was, but happily handed me a load of brochures and urged me to follow up with my learning about Islam.

Of course, I have learned much more since–and all of it just confirms how barbaric this creed is.

A Moslem who believes in Islam wants Sharia imposed on the world as the Law of Allah, and we all know it is a brutal, Dark Age law. A Moslem who does not is not truly a Moslem and there is hope they will see the light and come to Jesus. The reason America has a Constitution rather than live under Canon Law is because man is not righteous. We can only do our best in determining what is right and wrong. For moral guidance we turn to God’s Word to rule our hearts. Imposing them on others is a violation of that law. We can only impose what is clearly right and wrong, and even that is open to interpretation and corruption.

Well well! Now that the muslims and their liberal apologists have presented their taqiyya and kitman answers, allow Dajjal (who is banned from this site for being too truthful) via me, to present the REAL ANSWERS:

    1. Dangerous question, too ambiguous. Self-Appointed Expert will
claim that Jihad is extreme struggle, striving for self control against ego and temptation. He will never allow you to present the lefal definition found in Umdat al-Salik O9.0 or NQ footnote 2.190. Instead, demand the legal definition of Jihad. Then demand examples from the Jihad books of the six sittah, examples of Jihad an-Nafs.

    2. Another dangerous open ended question. SE will assert it is in lieu of military service for which dhimmis are ineligible. The question of Jizya must be framed in the light of Ibn Kathir’s Sira, Vol. 4, which explains it as a replacement income stream to compensate for terminating pagan hajj. It requires reference to the definitions in Hedaya, Vol. 2, page 212: a penalty for infidelity and a substitute for destruction.

    4. Another dangerous open question that presents an escape hatch fo the clever SE who will assert that Apostasy is Treason against the Islamic State, deserving the death penalty. Do not let him slither! Hedaya 2.216 informs that disbelief is an evil which must be removed from the world by Islam or death. Apostasy is the worst form of unbelief! Refer to Umdat Al-Salik O9.9: pagan Arabs must be converted or killed. If you do not know why, turn to Muquaddimah, page 199 whee Ibn khaldun describes Arab culture. Arabs are ungovernable while unconverted, a subversive risk to the Islamic State.

    7. Another dangerous open ended question. SE will assert that the Jews consipired against Moe. The interrogator must be fluent in Bukhari and Sira to take him down.

    10. Another dangerous open ended question. SE will assert that freeing a slave as expiation for sin is proof of disapproval of slavery. Interrogator needs to be familiar with Bukhari and Sharia to entrap the snake or he will slither free.

    13. How many did he order? And why!! What did he do prior to those expeditions??

15-16. Interrogator must be familiar with Life Of Moe or Ash-Shifa.

    18. Interrogator needs to know about Bukhari 6.60.80 in the Khan translation on line at CMJE!!!

    20. Interrogator should be familiar with the Naskh entry in Brill’s Encyclopedia Of Islam before using this question.

    21. Requires familiarity with surah An-Nisai, Sahih Bukhari and Suynan Abu Dawud.

    22. Requires broad Qur’an familiarity and knowledge of Jamih Tirmidhi Book Of paradise.

    23. Requires familiarity with Reliance Of The Traveller [Umdat al-Salik] Book O.

    24. Book N!

    31. Tabari, Vol VIII

    32. Requires clarity on the concept of duality.

35 Interrogator must be familiar with Sahih Muslim 32.6373.

    38. Requires familiarity with Sunan Abu Dawud and one of two Sahihs.

Extra discredit questions: What did Allah & Moe say and do about terrorism? What is the meaning, in “The Quranic Concept Of War”, page 59, of terror being the ends and the means “the condition wie wish to impose” and how does that relate to the terror of Qiyama described in Bukhari 8.76.537?

This is a brilliant thread, and I will study it carefully. But what we REALLY need is a list of 38 questions to ask a “good white social justice warrior” who is signalling her great virtue (and, alas, greater ignorance) by protesting in favor of the great evil that is Islam. Questions like:

    1. Have you ever actually read the Koran? Do you actually know what it says?
    2. Do you know the meaning of “jizya”?
    3. Do you know the meaning of “taqiya”?
    4. Do you know the meaning of “islam”?
    5. Islam is often called a religion of peace. Do you know the conditions they say must be put in place to achieve this peace?
    6. Do you know how a Muslim knows how to be a good Muslim? (Following the example of Mohammed and following the statements in the Koran)
    7. Let’s look at the first of these, being like Mohammed… Do you know how Mohammed felt about killing people to get rich by taking their stuff (in offensive war)?
    8. Do you know what Mohammed felt was the proper way to treat the women and children taken and spoils of war?
    9. Do you know what Mohammed taught about treating infidel men?
    10. Do you know what Mohammed taught about marriage?
    11. Do you know what Mohammed taught about women’s rights?
    12. Do you know what Mohammed taught about gay rights?
    13. Do you know what Mohammed taught about compulsion in religion?
    14. Do you know what Mohammed taught about telling the truth?
    15. Do you know what Mohammed taught about achieving world domination?
    16. Jihad is often taught as a struggle to self-improvement — but do you know what the Koran teaches about Jihad?
    17. Throughout the 16th through 20th centuries, what countries or religious states were most active in capturing and selling slaves?
    18. What did Mohammed teach about slavery?
    19. What did Mohammed teach about blacks?
    20. As a Muslim reads and followings the teachings of Mohammed and the Koran more and more closely, does he become more dangerous or less dangerous, and why?
    21. If what we often call “Radical Islam” is only that which was taught by Mohammed and the Koran, how is this different from just “Islam”?
    22. If you oppose “Radical Islam,” and this is no different than just “Islam,” how can you stand here in support of “Islam”?
    23. What does Islam teach about freedom of speech?
    24. How would the anticipated reaction of a Muslim to my sketching a cartoon insulting Mohammed be different from the anticipated reaction of, for example, a Christian to my sketching a cartoon insulting Jesus? What has the different reaction been historically? Is this difference important?
    25. According to the Pew survey, what percentage of US Muslims believe that sometimes suicide bombings are justified in the name of Islam? If this 7% of the estimated 1.8 million US really feels this way, how many US Muslims feel that suicide bombings in the name of Islam are sometimes justified? 1% of US Muslims say that suicide bombings are “often” justified. Given these findings, of the nearly 40,000 Muslims who entered the US last year, statistically how many are potential suicide bombers? Is it rational or irrational, hateful or prudent, to be concerned about the entry of between 400 and 2800 potential suicide bombers into the US last year?
    26. According to the Pew research, 7% of US Muslims believe that suicide bombings (terrorist attacks) in the name of Islam are justified — would this number likely be higher or lower in the immigrant population?
    27. According to the Pew research 20% of Nigerians view ISIS favorably. Is it hateful to believe that we need to be very careful about who we allow from Nigeria to enter our country?
    28. I perceive that we disagree on some things. Does that mean you hate me?
    29. If you can disagree with me without hating me, is it impossible that I disagree with Islam without “hating” the people who are trapped by this great evil?
    30. If Islam is indeed a morally corrupt, anti-woman, anti-black, anti-freedom, as Mohammed and the Koran teach it to be, is it hateful to oppose it?
    31. What are the similarities between Christianity and Islam, and what are the differences? Given the results of this analysis, is it “unfair” to oppose Islam without opposing Christianity?

These are just my first thoughts — but I would love it if people on this list made a long list of questions — WITH ANSWERS — to guide discussions with the social justice warriors (those people who are passionate but dangerously ignorant) who are rising in support of Islam.
