Koran 47 v 11:

Sahih International: That is because Allah is the protector of those who have believed and because the disbelievers have no protector.

Pickthall: That is because Allah is patron of those who believe, and because the disbelievers have no patron.

Yusuf Ali: That is because Allah is the Protector of those who believe, but those who reject Allah have no protector.

Shakir: That is because Allah is the Protector of those who believe, and because the unbelievers shall have no protector for them.

Muhammad Sarwar: God is the guardian of the believers, but the disbelievers have no guardian.

Mohsin Khan: That is because Allah is the Maula (Lord, Master, Helper, Protector, etc.) of those who believe, and the disbelievers have no Maula (lord, master, helper, protector, etc.).

Arberry: That is because God is the Protector of the believers, and that the unbelievers have no protector.

    Mawla means successor as in Q.47, v 11, Mawali means successors, per Q.19, v.5.
    Wali means guardian or protector per Q.5, v.55, and Walayat means to guard per Q.8, v.72 and Q.18, v.44.
    Allah is the sole Protector (Wali ) of angels per Q.34, v.41, and the sole Protector of the believers per Q.2, v.257.
    Awliyaw means leader (singular), per Q.41, v.31 that Allah is sole leader of the consistent believers. This unique word appears only once.

    Awliya means leaders, such as Q.8, v.34 the heathens are not leaders of the city of Makkah, but Awliyaa (this word only occurs four times) means adherents:
    – Moslems are the members, portions, elements of the city of Makkah per Q.8, v.34.
    – Portions of the unbelievers are their man-made idols per Q.2, v.257.
    – Followers of Jinns are sinful humans per Q.6, v.128.
    – Adherents of devils received evil inspiration per Q.6, v.121.
