Muslims cannot worship the same God as Christians and Jews because they have different laws which they have received from their god

Exodus 23 v 4 If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again. 5 If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.

The principle of doing good to your ideological enemy, who nonetheless is your fellow citizen, is against the law of Sharia, or it is at best only an option that may be followed or not followed depending upon whether or not it benefits Islam.

However, the Koran leaves the Muslim in no doubt that any harm that is inflicted upon the infidel, whether by omission of good or infliction of harm, is pleasing to Allah:

  1. [9.120] It did not beseem the people of Medina and those round about them of the dwellers of the desert to remain behind the Apostle of Allah, nor should they desire (anything) for themselves in preference to him; this is because there afflicts them not thirst or fatigue or hunger in Allah’s way, nor do they tread a path which enrages the unbelievers, nor do they attain from the enemy what they attain, but a good work is written down to them on account of it; surely Allah does not waste the reward of the doers of good;
  1. [46.25] Destroying everything by the command of its Lord, so they became such that naught could be seen except their dwellings. Thus do We reward the guilty people.

We can see in Syria the eerie moonlike landscape of bombed out dwellings, which were former beautiful cities where people of different faiths lived in peace as neighbours, which shows that Muslims have been obeying the command of Allah to destroy everything:
