The Reverse Anachronism of the Koran shows that it cannot be the words of God

Anachronism is usually when the modern is imposed upon the ancient. The modern is out of place in an ancient narrative. This sometimes happens the other way round. The ancient becomes out of place in the modern setting. In the Koran for example, which is supposed to be the timeless and eternal words of God.

In the bible we are told briefly, succinctly, concisely and truthfully how man was made by God:

Genesis 2 v 7:

7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

In the Koran we have many conflicting statements about how man was created. It seems that the writer was trying to impress the pagans of his day with his knowledge. This backfires on the writer but he doesn’t know it at that time because he is ignorant of any scientific knowledge in his day pertaining to the origins of life:

[6.2] He it is Who created you from clay, then He decreed a term; and there is a term named with Him; still you doubt.

[15.26] And certainly We created man of clay that gives forth sound, of black mud fashioned in shape.

[15.27] And the jinn We created before, of intensely hot fire.

[15.28] And when your Lord said to the angels: Surely I am going to create a mortal of the essence of black mud fashioned in shape.

[15.33] He said: I am not such that I should make obeisance to a mortal whom Thou hast created of the essence of black mud fashioned in shape.

[22.5] O people! if you are in doubt about the raising, then surely We created you from dust, then from a small seed, then from a clot, then from a lump of flesh, complete in make and incomplete, that We may make clear to you; and We cause what We please to stay in the wombs till an appointed time, then We bring you forth as babies, then that you may attain your maturity; and of you is he who is caused to die, and of you is he who is brought back to the worst part of life, so that after having knowledge he does not know anything; and you see the earth sterile land, but when We send down on it the water, it stirs and swells and brings forth of every kind a beautiful herbage.

[55.14] He created man from dry clay like earthen vessels, (some translations, like bricks )

To form from dry or hard clay is an oxymoron. We know that nothing can be formed from hard clay.

Anyone who has seen a video recording how the life of a child develops in the womb knows that this is all nonsense. We see that the descriptions of creation of human life found in the Koran are anachronistic in the modern world. This proves that the Koran and Islam is not from the one true God who created all things.

  1. θ says:

Soft dust and hard clay are just a matter of matter’s thickness.
    Job 33:6
Behold, I am according to thy wish in God’s stead: I also am formed out of the clay.
    Job 10:9
Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again.

Firstly, The ingredient of life comes indeed from the dusts but not the earthy dusts, it is of the dust grains surrounding the Sun.
Secondly, the word “clay” refers to terrestrial (terrain) habitation that determines the origin of earliest humans. Our ancestors choose the path as a terrestrial creation, leaving behind the old aquatic life, but not leaping higher for the aviation character.

    Life begins from the outer-space.
    There are 26 molecules that form a human’s body. H2.5E9 O9.7E8 C4.9E8 N4.7E7 P9.0E6 Ca8.9E6 K2.0E6 Na1.9E6 S1.6E6 Cl1.3E6 Mg3.0E5 Fe5.5E4F5.4E4 Zn1.2E4 Si9.1E3 Cu1.2E3 B7.1E2 Cr98 Mn93 Ni87 Se65 Sn64 I60 Mo19 Co17 V

    Chemical origin of organic molecules
The elements, except for hydrogen, ultimately derive from stellar nucleosynthesis. In October 2016, astronomers reported that the very basic chemical ingredients of life—the carbon-hydrogen molecule (CH, or methylidyne radical), the carbon-hydrogen positive ion (CH+) and the carbon ion (C+)—are the result, in large part, of ultraviolet light from stars, rather than in other ways, such as the result of turbulent events related to supernovae and young stars, as thought earlier.
Based on recent computer model studies, the complex organic molecules necessary for life may have formed in the protoplanetary disk of dust grains surrounding the Sun before the formation of the Earth.[100]
According to the computer studies, this same process may also occur around other stars that acquire planets.[100] (Also see Extraterrestrial organic molecules).

    //en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmic_dust
Cosmic dust is dust which exists in outer space. Most cosmic dust particles are between a few molecules to 0.1 µm in size. A smaller fraction of all dust in space consists of larger refractory minerals that condensed as matter left the stars. It is called “stardust” and is included in a separate section below. The dust density falling to Earth is approximately 10−6/m3 with each grain having a mass between 10−16kg (0.1 pg) and 10−4 kg (100 mg).[1][2]
In October 2011, scientists reported that cosmic dust contains complex organic matter (amorphous organic solids with a mixed aromatic–aliphatic structure) that could be created naturally, and rapidly, by stars.[3][4][5]
On August 14, 2014, scientists announced the collection of possible interstellar dust particles from the Stardust spacecraft since returning to Earth in 2006.[6][7][8][9]

  2. madmanna says:

    Job doesn’t mean clay literally:

Job 4 v 17 Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?

18 Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:

19 How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth?

  3. madmanna says:

“O people! if you are in doubt about the raising, then surely We created you from dust, then from a small seed, then from a clot, then from a lump of flesh”

Are seeds, clots and lumps of flesh made out of clay?

  4. madmanna says:

Why the reference in the Koran to the colour and consistency of the clay, black and muddy?
    Clay is not dust.

  5. θ says:

“madmanna says: “O people! if you are in doubt about the raising, then surely We created you from dust, then from a small seed, then from a clot, then from a lump of flesh” Are seeds, clots and lumps of flesh made out of clay?”

The verse Q.22, v.5 actually uses the word “Turab” meaning the dust, not the wet clay (in Arabic “Tin”, per Q.37, v.11. Qur’an depicts the origin of the life’s molecules from either dust or wet clay which is more or less like mud, not the hard clay.
From 26 molecules that form human body, the most ingredients come from the cosmic dust. Fro 26 molecules, there are certain elements – such as Mg and Si – along with Hydrogen and Oxygen that happen to be the same molecules of the clay, such as Sepiolite, which is a clay mineral found with chemical makeup Mg4 Si6 O15 (OH)2·6H2O. It contains a hydrous magnesium silicate, causing a non-swelling, lightweight, porous clay.
