Mohammed was never anointed and he has no lineage therefore he cannot serve God in any official capacity. Therefore he is a false prophet.

King James Bible

But Jesus said this prophecy was fulfilled in him:

The Year of the Lord’s Favor

(Matthew 2:19-23; Matthew 13:53-58; Mark 6:1-6; Luke 2:39-40; Luke 4:16-30)

Isaiah 61 v 1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Luke 4 v 18
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. 20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

  1. θ says:

    Prophet Muhammad is not a Jewish Prophet. Jesus is. That’s why Moses’ special rulings of anointment is a must on Jesus but not on Prophet Muhammad.

  2. Kevin Esteban says:

    I think, Muhammad was decleared “prophet” by Kadijah’s uncle Waraqa ibn Nawfal. Why? Simply because a true Angel of the True God Elhohim would never come and squeeze the neck of His true Prophets to death and because Muhammad himself thought he was “possessed by the devil” and wanted to kill himself(hadiths sources). Only a scum would believe in this mad killer and ‘ladies’ choice!!’

    Hola Senor Esteban, thumbs up!! You just summarized Islam in less than a page. I was also thinking that the greatest error in the history of humanity has always been Islam.

    (i) Why didn’t Gabriel identify himself as the Angel right from the start?
    At that time Prophet Muhammad didn’t know even what angel is.

    (ii) Why didn’t Gabriel tell “not be afraid” or say “fear not” as he does when he encounters other humans?
    In Human’s psychology appearance makes more powerful impact than a verbal suggestion.

    (iii) Why did Gabriel ask Muhammad to read when he would have known that he could not read?
    Gabriel is not divine, he even didn’t know if Prophet Muhammad is illiterate.

    (iv) Why did Gabriel turn too aggressive under the circumstance by pressing down 3 times until Prophet Muhammad could barely breathe in order to get him to read?
    That’s well-known in the Bible. The People of the Book such as Waraqa knew this feature: a similar encounter happens on Moses in the inn. God was going to kill Moses because of his sin in Exodus 4:24 which is not stated explicitly, but the surrounding events give substantial clues as to the violent character of Moses’ bloody temperament and his sinful past.

    (v) Why did it take Waraqa to first suggest that it was Gabriel?
    That’s easy. It is because among the verses Gabriel conveyed (of Sura 96th) it is mentioned one Arabic word “Rabb” (the Lord) twice, without even mentioning the exact name “Ism” of the Lord (not yet at that time), that is “Allah” in Arabic. Also it is mentioned the Lord is the Creator of mankinds. The Lord is the Owner of glory. Also the Lord teaches humans how to think.
    Satan is inglorious, and didn’t create humans, does not have brains so can’t think.

    (vi) Why did he wish to kill himself?
    From Waraqa’s story of Moses – that God want to kill Moses because of his sin (in Exodus 4:24) – it is plausible if Prophet Muhammad would have a worry that the same unpleasant event would be repeated once more upon him.

    (vii) Why after believing that it was Gabriel was he so afraid after the second visit?
    The crux of the issue is not Gabriel.
    It s a symbol and lesson that Prophet Muhammad can only be strengthened by Allah directly (of Sura 74th) when he wrapped himself at his home. For the Prophethood, consolation indirectly by an angel is nothing. That is unlike Jesus who just gets strengthened by an angel in the garden Gethsemane. Gabriel can’t do anything unless Allah permits him.

    If someone doesn’t believe in what Moses wrote in Exodus 4:24, how can we expect him to believe in the story of Gabriel and the cave?
