God never communed with Mohammed. He only, so we are told, communicated with him indirectly through an angel. Mohammed never heard the voice of God and never communed with God therefore he cannot be a lawgiver from God. We must conclude that he is an imposter.

Moses Receives the Tablets

Exodus 31 v 18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

34 v 27 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel. 28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.

Deuteronomy 4 v 12 And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice. 13 And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.

10 v  3 And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand. 4 And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me. 5 And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the LORD commanded me.

  1. θ says:

At the apex of Isra Miraj (Q.53, v.10) Prophet Muhammad hears Allah’s voice without seeing Him, while Gabriel just leaves behind at the bottom of the Throne.
