The caption of Qur’anic in the video makes a good impression that Islam does not (yet) belong to Allah during the wartime. Yes, Islam is perfected in the peacetime. That’s why Islam is truly the religion of peace.

  2. θ says:

“Fitnah” in the context is a religious persecution. Fighting is not continuous, but rather gets limited by some rulings:
    (i) Truce of the Four Sacred Months, per Q.9, v.5 (to respect the Islamic tradition that happens to be believed and honored somewhat by the Makkah’s heathens).
(ii) Peaceful heathens per Q.9, v.6.
(iii) Hudaybiya Truce prior to the peaceful conquest of Makkah.
(iv) Sparing the remnants of Khaybar Jews.
    (v) A theological debate with the Najranite Christian priests at Medina.
    (vi) Peaceful conquest of Makkah
(vii) Peace treaty with the Sinaite Christians at the city of Tabouk.
