Jesus the incarnate Word gives power to become sons of God therefore he is God

John 1 v 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

In other words those who received him, that is received Jesus the incarnate Word by faith, received him because he had given them power to believe so that they could receive him by believing on him.

The Word was the source of this power to receive and become sons of God. Being thus empowered those who believed and received the Word were born of God. This empowerment is an action ascribed to God in verse 13. The source of this power is God himself in the form of the incarnate Word as this text makes abundantly clear.

Amen. “which were born NOT of the will of man, but of God” It is all His doing; not ours.

    God bless.

Term “Son of God” is one of the most confusing and convoluted term in the New Testament.
. Luke believes Adam is son of God, hence are so all mankind.
. Jesus believes all man’s father is God, hence are so all mankind.
. Jesus preaches on other days that the Peacemakers are sons or children of God, hence diplomats are so.
. Author of the book of Hebrew believes angels are sons of God – by interpreting lower status of Jesus than angels -, hence are Satan and demons so.
. Paul believes Jews are the cast away sons of God, while Christians are the adopted (grafted) son of God.
. James believes that the light is son of God.
. Paul believes on other days all things are sons of God, as He is above all, by all, and in all.

Paul believes on other days all things are sons of God, as He is above all, by all, and in all.
    Eph 4:6
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Term “Son of God” has effectively lost its meaning in New Testament. Being a son of God is just meaning being a “thing” per Eph.4:6 of Paul.

    Artificial or non-genuine incarnation.
Incarnation of Jesus is not fully reached into the most substantial thing which makes all human cast and suffer on the earth: being a man of free will, being a sinner, being a repentant.

Jesus doesn’t know what it feels to be a real man of free will, he can’t sin, hence he doesn’t know how great it is to feel being a repentant.
Jesus is just a perfect puppet.
